Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Some of the best pancakes we had in our 2 month stay in Vietnam. Locations is perfect and the rooms are very good, but not perfect.

Good value for money, breakfast included with lots of different fresh fruit (hard to get in Vietnam), staff very friendly and helpful, the double room was comfortable and had heating and air con, wi-fi good for working. Clean sheets The single room I originally booked wasn’t as good as the double room I was moved to on my second night. There was a lot of light coming through in the morning and night. A little run down but can’t really complain for the price!

Stayed here for a few days after my return from Cat Ba island. The entire staff were all friendly, warm and extremely helpful to whatever was needed. The hotel went above and beyond to make you feel welcome upon entry, and created an amazing atmosphere for guests to stay. For the incredible price per night, the room was incredibly spacious, clean and bed was incredibly comfortable. Would highly recommend for either a short or long stay depending on party size. Great location too! Close to everything and anything you could possibly want in Hanoi.

Great location in the old quarter. There's a restaurant that's a 2 minute walk from there. Really great Vietnamese food called MET restaurant, which was recommended by one of the hotel staff. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Jessica the manager was great! She helped plan our trip to Halong Bay and book tickets on the sleeper train. The famous train street is about a 10 mins walk. Breakfast was nice, a nice little variety of fruit, Thai and western food. I did struggle to sleep on our first night but that's no fault of the hotel. There was construction work going on around 10pm to 1am, right behind our hotel room. This was only on the 1st night of our stay, after that I slept like a baby!

This is a really nice little hotel in the old quarter. It is centrally located at the same time quiet. What really makes this hotel is the staff. They are super friendly and attentive. When I arrived hot and tired after a long ride from Ha Gian I was welcomed, by Jessica the service manager, with a cold drink and some fresh fruit whilst the receptionist took my luggage to the room. This was amazing. I originally booked in for two nights, intending to move to another hotel. But I extended my stay for another 4 days. The WiFi is good and they serve an excellent and varied breakfast. I booked a tour to Halong Bay via the hotel, and it was excellent. I can recommend this hotel.

Great location in old town. Near the lake and lots of local food nearby. Breakfast was simple with plentiful of fruits. Helpful and friendly staff. Room and bathroom was spacious.

We are a middle-aged married couple who decided to spend one week in Hanoi. When planning a trip, we chose a hotel based on two parameters: good reviews and its location in a tourist area. And we were not mistaken. The hotel is located in close proximity to Hoan Kiem Lake, which is very pleasant to walk around at any time of the day. From there you can travel by tourist buses. The hotel itself is small but comfortable. Good breakfasts, cleanliness and silence create a cozy atmosphere. The room was quite enough for two, large bed with a comfortable mattress. Although, in our opinion, the greatest pleasure was communicating with the hotel staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, neat and tactful. I especially want to highlight Jessica, who was simply perfect. Even the weather, which was quite cool during our stay in Hanoi, did not spoil our mood. We recommend this hotel, and if we ever return to Hanoi, we will definitely choose Hanoi Golden Moon.

Very great location, super close walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, and right in the Old Quarter, only a short walk to Giang Cafe (for their famous egg coffee). All the staff are very friendly and helpful, I had such a great time at the hotel. Such a great value for money. Nothing at all.
