Dalat Mr Peace Backpacker's

Very good position in da lat. Not too far from the city center but in a relaxed and silent area. The rooftop is very cozy and great place to work/spend time. They have family dinners everyday for a reasonable price and cheap (but veeery limited) breakfast. I’d suggest to increase the portion of the pancakes/give more options. I’m sure people wouldn’t mind paying a little bit more to have some extra food. Poor organisation and service. Understandable because of Tet holiday (they also sent a message saying sorry about this). We booked and payed in advance to rent a scooter but when we went to take it, they said all the scooters were already gone (they gave us our money back but still..). Many problems with overbooking and no room availability for some travellers. Again, UNDERSTANDABLE because of Tet holiday so maybe avoid going during big celebrations (or also for the hostel team, plan better for the next holiday!!). Not every staff member was friendly, maybe too stressed because of everything that was going on🫶🏻

The value for money at this hostel is incredible, offers dorms and private rooms, I was in a dorm of 6 with a comfortable mattress and pillow, curtains, bed light and socket with bag storage below. Always hot water in the bathrooms, it has a good night time communal area with roof terrace pool table family dinner area and cheap drinks, the receptionist Anna was funny and a big help during my stay.

The location is not too far from the city center, morning Market. The receptionist. She rejected my booking confirmation as she told me there was problem in the booking.com's system. This is unacceptable! She also more than double charged for the bus ticket if you book the ticket with her. There were no sound proof. The noise of echo came from everywhere. It was so annoying and difficult to sleep. The dorm is like a storage. The bed is squeaky making noise when you move your body.

The room was well equipped, with a private bathroom. Big and very comfy bunk bed. Overall the hostel was very clean and tidy. It's got a nice rooftop. The personnel were very friendly and very helpful at all times. The location of the hostel was perfect for me since it's in a very nice and quiet part of town, 20 minutes away from the city centre on foot. I would def come back and I strongly recommend it.

Not the perfect stay during my Vietnam trip, but it was quite good, thanks to their family dinner and the female staff—was her name Anna or something else? I completely forgot. However, the male staff (not the owner) who assisted with the family dinner upstairs barely smiled and answered my questions rudely. On the bright side, their check-in flexibility with an additional fair price was helpful! Thank you. Nothing really bothered me.

The room was huge with two double beds. The staff were amazing and were really willing to help. They also sent a photo of us from the family meal after and followed up to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The family meal was amazing and great value for money and the breakfast was nice and very cheap. If you are looking for somewhere to meet people then this is the perfect place! We also loved the canyoning tour - definitely recommend There room could have been a little cleaner behind beds etc where it was dusty and the beds were very hard.
