Cai Be

The property is very well laid out with duplex units on the river, lake or garden. All very nice. The bath is spacious and the little deck nice to enjoy the views. The pool is large although too shallow on one side. Great for the toddlers. The breakfast is good if it’s the buffet but if you order by menu just so so. Restaurant serves nicely prepared dishes at resort prices. Thr staff as usual in Vietnam is eager to help. We arrived by rented scooter and had some trouble with it. Three guys were omit and had the problem fixed in a jiffy.

Amazing experience staying in Cai Be at Sao Mai Hotel. Vu and his family really take care of you here. When you stay here you will be fed delicious home made meals and have the opportunity to speak with Vu and his family, getting a better understanding of Vietnam and the Mekong region. They will help you with everything in your stay whether it be food, tours, bus tickets and onward travel! Room was very comfortable with hot water and AC. Thank you for everything!

Cai Be

This was the best accommodation we’ve had, hands down. The food was EXCEPTIONAL, the garden beautiful & peaceful and our hosts were warm and welcoming. Our river tour with Nhi was an absolute highlight - we saw and experienced so much. Yes it’s rustic and doesn’t have all of the comforts of a city hotel, but that’s the point! It was the only time we felt that we truly got away from the tourist traps and experienced the real Vietnam.

Cai Be

Perfect location with view on the river, free rental bicycle available, and large shared spaces in the hotel. The room was simple but very comfortable. Food was delicious and I can tell you that the meals were prepared with passion / love ! On top of that, you will meet and discuss with the manager of the hotel (Vu) who is an awesome and very kind guy. He will do everything to make you feel comfortable and at home.

Cai Be

A very clean and spacious house, with a comfortable outside area in a very nice , leafy part of Cai Be, we did very nice walks through narrow paths off the main street, tiny canals in people’s gardens, an unexpected school in the middle of maize of small paths, one feels that the jungle starts just behind this part of the city. There is also a very neat restaurant with AC room next door.

The location is very special, with large gardens and grounds right on the river you couldn’t ask for a more ideal setting. The pool area is lovely and the staff were very helpful. The hotel manager Duy personally took care of us - he helped book our bus to the next destination, expertly administered first aid when we needed it, and gave us some interesting facts about the Mekong.

Lovely if slightly rustic hotel on the Mekong Delta. Food was really delicious, much better than some previous reviews suggested. Great tours, free bike hire appreciated. Seamless communication with booking.com taxis regarding pick up and drop off (as have to access from a boat). Overall great relaxing time.

I adored this little place by the river! Very homey vibes and way bigger than expected. There's a kitchen, a bathtub, two beds, a sofa and armchairs to relax and read. Bicycles also available to move around Cai Be town. Having breakfast with the boats passing by is priceless, I will definitely be back!

This spacious property is exactly like the photos and very thoughtfully designed. The owners were incredibly helpful on check-in, check-out, and with any questions we had, including organising the bus to leave Caí Be. They also adapted the breakfast for our diet at the last minute.

Cai Be

Location is great, although Cai Be might not the best place to experience the Mekong Delta. Tourguide Thom is great! Staff, although not great at English, is supportive and comes mainly from local town. Philosophy of the Lodge is good. Mekong river views are stunning with sunset!
