Tropicana Resort Phu Quoc

Beachfront room and the staff were very accommodating. Good restaurants in the area, just walking distance. The communication can be improved. Language was a bit of a problem, but staff were wonderful.

Photos are very accurate. We booked the beachfront room which was absolutely beautiful, spacious room with large comfortable bed with a large balcony overlooking the beach. Lovely to sit out there to watch the sunset sipping on our dutyfree. ❤ All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Gardens are well kept and plants so healthy looking. Gardeners worked very hard everyday to kept grounds lovely. 😊 Breakfast was ok, eggs as you like them but only one choice of white bread and a few other hot dishes and as we hadn't included it, we only ate there once. You can also only order food until 4.00pm. The restaurant is not open of an evening and no-one comes around the pool to ask if you would like a drink. On the plus side, you could probably drink your own dutyfree and no-one would care. We really enjoyed it here. So peaceful, very hard not to relax. 😊🙏 Only a couple of things could be improved to make it more comfortable. They do not provide coffee, sugar or milk ( or creamer). Just 2 teabags and 2 all in one sachets which tasted like chocolate not coffee. We always travel with our own coffee anyway but had to buy a bag of sugar and little cartons of UHT milk. No handtowel provided and when I asked at reception was told they do not have them. The front door to our room is glass, although obscured, but no curtain or blinds on it and faces the east, so we were woken as the sun came up each morning, which is nice unless you have been out late the night before. 😜 There are good sunblock curtains on the balcony doors and a side window so please put curtains on the front door and the glass pane above the door so people can sleep in if they choose. The swimming pool looked nice and clean but there were scum lines along the tiles. Black oily stuff. Doesn't take much effort to scrub this off with bicarbonate soda and a scourer. Pool was also very warm, think its cuz its in the sun all day so only refreshing in the morning. (Would assume it wouldnt be heated.) Maybe needs bigger plants around to give it some shade. No offer to have a drink and no music so very quiet.

Hotel right on the beach, great swimming pool. The swimming pool is quiet no music so it was very relaxing. Just what we wanted. Room was huge, cleaned every day with fresh towels each day. Great to have a teapot in the room. Water bottles daily and toiletries. Close to small cafes and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk. An amazing beach bar just a couple of minutes walk along the beach. Amazing sunsets. This hotel is the perfect location. We booked for 4 days but stayed for 10. We loved it. Sometimes the water in the shower was warm/cold.

Amazing hotel with friendly staff. Hotel with private beach with sunchairs and umbrellas. Location was great, quietly located on a side road to the main road with lots of restaurants. The main road was about 200m from the hotel. Large rooms, with either balcony or terrass. Each room had 2 chairs and a small table on the terrass/balcony. Can't say anything negative about this hotel

great location, fantastic restaurant just next to the hotel, few steps from the beach, great personnel, felt clean, nice view from balcony, the best location in Phu Quoc, massages, scooter rental, restaurants just few steps all good, just the construction next door sometimes noisy during the day

It was perfect! The hotel has kept a real rustic charm, not like the others which are too modern. Everything was good inside the room, very big and comfy and the view was so amazing! The staff was very nice, especially the guy with black glasses at the reception, who starts working at the beginning of the evening. The whole hotel is very clean, with a beautiful pool, a beautiful garden and a private beach with sunbeds. I would definitely recommend and come back here! Nothing. It was perfect!

Beautiful property very peaceful and access to beach was amazing!! No food service after breakfast!

Spotless, comfortable, central.The staff were exceptional.In all my years of travelling I have never met such friendly and welcoming staff.A credit to the management. Nothing!!!
