Gorgeous property built into the mountainside. Our room was beautiful and spacious, the pool area is stunning and I had one of the best massage/facials ever. It is not cheap, especially for Vietnam, but worth the money given the amenities and level of service provided. I wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the amenities.

The property was perfect and best-in-class in every sense: The location, the infrastructure, and the team. We were impressed by the dedicated App to book experiences and buggy rides - it made our experience very seamless. It’s also great that 90% of the employees are from the nearby villages - it made the experience feel very authentic and it was beautiful to see how quickly and passionately the team learned English and hospitality. Nothing - it was 10/10

We loved the hotel. The staff were great, very nice, patient and attentive for every request/question we had. We loved the facilities of and around the hotel and took the enjoyable trip with the guide around the close villages. We would definitely come back to Avana Retreat again. It was great. Breakfast is great also! The food at the hotel is expensive and due to its location, there's no option of eating outside the hotel (at night for instance). Other than that - no complaint at all. We loved the hotel.

The property is absolutely stunning. The spa was fantastic and the nature hike was a great experience. So many workshops and activities to chose from, this is a great place to have a relaxing time with kids or adults. The food was not as good as the rest of the experience. Breakfast was fine, but the dinner was mediocre for the price. The Hmong and Muong set menus were good but the food was just not as good as it could have been (and was relatively very expensive). That being said the happy hour drinks at the pool was a great bargain and the mixologist is wonderful.

beautiful resort and very remote. you need to be in reasonable shape as the property is located on a hillside. However, they have buggies at your command. Great staff!

Top notch service from the staff. The spa was excellent. We were able to relax in quietness and serenity for three days. Food could be better. It lacks flavors.

The resort was mind-blowing. The heated pool, the grounds, the waterfalls, the service, the buggies taking to wherever you want from your villa - everything was superlative. Loved the complimentary minibar and daily fruit juice. The bathroom was also ensconced in floor to ceiling windows looking out into the forest - it is as amazing as the photos look. We stayed for 4 nights and definitely plan to be back. It's also more suitable for people who do not require a lot of activities and are happy just chilling all day or reading a book. The food in the Green Chilli restaurant was average, and could be a little better for the price point. There were also some bugs/lizards in the room, which you have to be chill about/assiduous about shutting the doors properly since you're basically in a forest retreat.
