Nghinh Phong Tower – A New Symbol of Phu Yen Tourism

Designed by HUNI Architectes Vietnam and constructed by domestic companies, Nghinh Phong Tower is inspired by Ganh Da Dia – a special national relic of Phu Yen – and the legend of "A hundred eggs a hundred children" of Lac Long Quan and Au Co. With a total square area of 7,190 m², the project is not only a "million-like" check-in point but also a tribute to the history, culture, and aspiration to reach the vast sea of the people of Phu Yen.

The tower was honored to receive the World's Leading City Tourist Attraction 2023 (World Travel Awards) and the 2023 Asian Townscape Award, the only project in Southeast Asia to achieve this award.

Why Visit Nghinh Phong Tower?

  1. Unique Architecture: The twin towers consist of 100 stacked granite columns, divided into two clusters (50 columns each), representing 50 children who followed their mother Au Co up the mountain and 50 children who followed their father Lac Long Quan to the sea. The towers are 34 m high (Lac Long Quan) and 28 m high (Au Co), with a wind gap in the middle creating a natural sound like "the song of the sea".

  2. Cultural Value: The reliefs on granite depict the 400-year history of Phu Yen, from the time of King Le Thanh Tong, coastal fishermen, to Cham culture and the fish worshipping ceremony, reminding us of the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source".

  3. Virtual Living Check-in: Modern design, shimmering lights at night thanks to Bobine Tesia technology, 3D mapping, and high-intensity lasers, along with the blue sea, create an ideal setting for taking photos.

  4. Community Space: The spacious square is a venue for major events such as the SEA Games 31 MV “Let’s Shine” (2022) and street art performances.

  5. Convenient Location: Located right in the center of Tuy Hoa, near the beach, easy to combine with other tourist attractions such as Nhan Tower, Bai Xep, or Ganh Da Dia.
