Mon Chéri Cruises

The cruise was excellent, amazing staff and service and all the food was delicious. We loved the kayaking and the toning tour to the cave. Nothing.

Nice luxury cruise that we enjoyed very much! As with all the cruises in the bay area (we did the 2D/1N), the schedule is quite intensive, but none of the activities are mandatory. We had a very spacious room with three beds, a balcony and even a massage chair. Food was abundant and good (both western and local options), drinks reasonably priced and cocktails were good. Last but not least, the staff was super friendly, no exceptions. We can’t think of anything.

I spent (what felt like) years of my life researching which cruise to go on from Ha Long Bay, and I was exceedingly pleased the research paid off, because our Mon Cheri cruise was superb. The staff make you feel like royalty and work exceedingly hard to keep the guests confortable and happy, even awkward guests with allergies and specific diets I was one of several and they really went out of their way for everyone, it seemed. The itinerary was well organised and executed and our cabin was everything we hoped for, apart from one or two very small issues. Thang and Andrew deserve special mentions. Thang kept her smile right until the end and was always extremely helpful. Andrew worked very hard to make sure our dining experiences were always excellent. Super cruise. On arrival and departure at the marina, things were extremely frenetic, as the area for organising everyone combined several cruise bookings, owned by Big Bay group. This is a little disconcerting on arrival and upon departure (which felt rather hurried, more below). On the cruise itself, two very minor issues: lock on our balcony door could only work from the inside of our cabin and the PA speaker didn’t appear to work but that’s it. Not big enough problems for us to feel it spoilt anything, we had the itinerary to keep a check on things and a chair in front of the door kept the room door closed and room cool when enjoying the view from the balcony. If I were to be really pedantic, I might say that once the last excursion is over, staff are ready to prepare for the next guests, which is perfectly understandable, but there was a different vibe towards the end from some quarters.

Staff was very attentive and supportive. The facilities on the cruise were wonderful. In general, our family had a very enjoyable trip.

Crew molto attentive ad ogni nostro desiderio e bisogno. Purtroppo ci hanno dato una stanza vicino al motore quindi rumeroso durante i vari passaggi da una zona all'altro. Era silenzioso quando la nave era fermo es. La sosta per la notte.

Top croisière. Chambre incroyable on nous a surclassés a l’avant du bateau dans la grande suite. On a pas fait les activités mais plutôt profitez de la chambre. Les repas sont excellents et le staff super sympathique. Excellent massage. Eau chaude plutôt tiède froide. Beaucoup de bruit tôt le matin d’un bateau qui vient nous approvisionner en eau. Il aurait pu fermer son moteur surtout à 7h le matin alors qu’on veut dormir. Le transport depuis et vers Hanoi est pénible. Au retour, on quitte le bateau à 10h45 pour revenir à Hanoi à 15h donc un total de plus de 4h de transport.

Une super croisière sur le MonCheri2, chouchouté. Un vrai 5 stars Cruise ! Les mets étaient parfaits, et nous avons été surclassé en Suite Présidentielle..juste Parfait Un Grand Merci à Tam et Ducky, très professionnels et serviables Les transferts du Marina au Bateau un peu long et inconfortable
