Extremely large. Good range of facilities. Very nice bulkding, clean and comfy rooms. Excellent breakfast buffet and wonderful views. Beautiful beach with lovely pools. Very good value for money (having come in off season). Food at Lan Ha restaurant was disappointing - very small portions, poorly prepared, and expensive - better kff eating in town. Room service food was great but arrived slowly and was cold. Most bikes broken and clearly had been for some time. Odd extra charges for things you wouldnt expect to pay for eg using pool tables in the bar.

The food was wonderful and we appreciate the variety! We enjoyed the walkways and platforms and Beach. A beautiful location! We were very comfortable in the two room suite since we were traveling as a family together. We could not control the lights in the entry room with the kitchenette. They would come on automatically and far too bright in the middle of the night. They unfortunately woke up our baby just when we had gotten him to sleep.

Very nice, comfortable room with a great view and modern interior. Fantastic breakfast buffet (way more than anyone could possibly eat). The private beach with access only for hotel guests, so very peaceful. Nothing. You have to be aware it is a huge resort, though. We were here in low season, so it was quiet and peaceful. If you visit in high season it could possibly be quite busy and have more of a party vibe...(?)

lovely hotel, well managed and great staff. The rooms were clean and the views were spectacular. This is a massive resort. Please bear in mind that it doesn't offer an intimate or personalised experience, and it can feel as though you are in a large corporate machine churning out tourists. The beach is not particularly clean and there was a lot of litter in the sea.

Beautiful location. Excellent all around. However, the staff was especially good and in particular, Uyen, who made it so easy to make a quick booking and facilitate early morning transport to the ferry. Didn't meet her, but she was instrumental in making the stay very enjoyable.

Great, quiet location with private beach access. A lot of facilities for adults and kids. Friendly and patient staff. I also want to call out the great insulation to the other rooms which is rarely the case. I could still hear people talking to each other on the hallway but at least not my direct neighbors. Room for improvement regarding beach service. For a 5 star resort I would expect staff to clean the beach in the morning and also regular checks on trash. The choice of drinks at the beach bar was also very limited as I don’t think they had a fridge, just a cooling box.

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot with amazing views from the rooftop bar. The hotel is clean with everything you could ask for in a resort. The bed was a little hard but still had an enjoyable sleep. The shower is over the bathtub which tends to flood the bathroom however, the best shower we had in Vietnam so nothing you couldn't deal with.

Great location, good place to relax and recharge. Big breakfast buffet the staff were helpful and friendly. We were there in the low season so not a huge number of guests which was definitely a positive. Not far from town. We also had a room with a balcony and ocean view so fantastic views.

Nice hotel, but very busy with locals this time of year. Appears that several members of the staff are trainees, and were frazzled with the number of people checking in at the same time. The breakfast buffet was very good, the dinner buffet was not ideal for vegetarians, but the choices for others were very good. The hotel is a nice modern hotel with 3 towers of rooms connected by a bridge. Nice view of Lan Ha bay from each room. It is a short walk into town, or you can arrange for an electric car to take you.- for 10,000 vnd ea. All in all, a very nice hotel, but the experience would have been better had it not been so noisy. Not the hotel's fault, it's the locals having a good time on their vacy. :).. That being said, I would stay here again. Rooms a a little small, but manageable. The bathroom just has an open bathtub to shower...Very inefficient. Very messy. Big design flaw.

Beautiful and impressive hotel, well located for easy access to Cat Ba town. Lovely and comfortable room with really nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast selection. Much of the other parts of the hotel appeared closed. The hotel lacked a fun holiday atmosphere and seemed more corporate and formal than we would have liked. There is a beautiful and huge spa where we had a complimentary 15 min foot soak and scrub but the spa itself was virtually deserted. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but communication was a problem as almost no one spoke good English, which was surprising given that the hotel would likely attract a global clientele.
