The plan was to spend there the first night in Cat Ba and we ended up spending there 4 nights. The family running it are soooo nice. They have a small restaurant for the guests which is pretty convenient, and the homestay is located right in the middle of the island, surrounded by nature, but they rent motorbikes so you can explore this beautiful place. The rooms are so much better than we expected and they clean it every day. The best hostel that we've stayed in Vietnam so far!

Amazing service 👍🏼 Viet is the man, very helpful and supportive!!! Help us with all bookings during our week on Cat Ba and all trips and transportation back to Hanoi. Help us even, when we did stay in other hotel. Bike rental brilliant, 15 minutes any side of island. Place has swimming pool and pool table also pretty nice nature and quiet little village around. good food and atmosphere. Recommending to stay there for a chill time there.

+ - friendly staff - clean room - very quick checkin, but if its on weekend you have to wait a bit because Cat Ba are very crowded on weekend - the tour they offer was very good, but if you want to book it you have to do it the night before - the hotel also have a cave which is very interesting, and a restaurant in the otherside of the island. The food there was delicious if you want to eat hotpot and grill - good service for such a price

Very, very excellent and friendly personal. May be for someone the hotel is placed outside from center, but for us is very good - beatifull views (room with sea view), quite place, close to the port restaurant. The hotel offer a motorbike and you should take it, because more interesting things and place is located in different places on the island, and taxi using is expensive - motorbike is excellent choose.

The hotel is in a spectacular location on Cat Ba island with the most stunning views from all sides. Very comfortable rooms with lovely pools, one in the roof which is great to watch the sunset. The staff were very friendly and in particular Chi, who is extremely helpful and personable with excellent English. A very comfortable place to stay whilst exploring the beauty of Cat Ba and Lan Ha bay.

A cozy, comfortable, spacious rooms, and a very well-located boutique family-run hotel in the heart of Cat Ba island, a short walk away from the center. We loved our stay here and the owners of the property were very friendly and helpful all along. Plus this came on a budget so couldn't complain about anything. If you are on a budget and need a comfy place to stay, go for it!

I ate at here 4 times on my trip to Cat Ba as it is so much better then all of the bland food restaurants there serve. The fish with tomatoes was great, as are the various other seafood items on the menu. The owner is friendly and happy to provide recommendations. Prices are good as well, in the average to lower price range for seafood on the island making it a great deal.

Great location on the main road. View from 9th floor room WOW! View from dining room balcony on 10th floor even better. Delicious full breakfast. Lots of places to eat nearby. Reception very helpful with local tips. Arranged a motorbike rental so I could hike in Cat Ba NP, visit Trung Tram Cave, Cat Co Beaches & Cannon Fort.

I think this is the only place in Cat Ba Town that actually has chill Island vibes to it - all others are either typical hotels no different than those in any Vietnamese city, or huge posh resorts. The rooms are spacious and clean, nothing fancy, but ok. The bar/pool area is super chill and a great place to relax.
