A truly powerful, brutally honest, and generally informative look at the Vietnam War. A must-see in Ho Chi Minh. Nothing is more precious than independence and liberty. One can only hope the American government eventually learns from its many, many atrocities.

It's a walk to the past, a reminder of why peace is so important. There are many graphic photos on the 2nd floor so parents should be wary of. There are audio guides in many languages.

Increíble, muy fuerte!
Gruesome but good historical museum. It is one sided but does show how they also treated each other
I really like the place. everything is written and photographed what truly happened during the war. so sad to see devastation of the war.
Very important place to visit in Vietnam. You will learn a lot about the Vietnam war. How they came under the attack, how they built their defence with the bare minimum means at their disposal, you will know about the ugly agent Orange, its effects on victims. You will learn about how the mighty powers attacked a poor country, and how the Vietnamese put on a brave defence and fought for so many years.

Very fascinating place, had all kinds of stuff including some non-kid friendly photos of the war, very historical!
Was ok cool planes tanks
Good experience. Will come back again says it all

Fantastic way to understand the history of the Vietnam war, with stories told by different people involved. Lots of it pretty harrowing and disturbing. It was very disappointing to see how badly fellow humans treat each other.

You should be came here ….
Harrowing is the only word to describe what you'll see. If you come to Saigon, you need to visit the war museum. You will get to see the war from another point of view, and it's truly eye-opening. An absolute must-see if you're here.
Feel sad..USA very brutal
Grim but necessary would sum up my feelings about this museum. After nearly three weeks of enjoying the warmth, hospitality, efficiency and fun of Vietnam, we felt it was important to learn more about this period of its history, even if the Vietnamese don't want to be defined by this. It is pretty graphic in its displays, models, images and descriptions and there were ties when I had to step out of the room to take a breather but I wouldn't have missed it.
Pretty harrowing but essential viewing is you want to have any idea about the recent history of Vietnam. You'll need 1 to 2 hours and try to follow the numbered route to make it make more sense. It's quite a sombre place too, so try not to dress like a western idiot!
On apprend beaucoup de chose Comme l'agent orange Photo plutot trash
Very interesting museum, audio guide 100% the cost.
Buen lugar, algunas imágenes muy fuertes.
Let me share my impressions of the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City. This museum is an essential stop for those who seek to understand history in its raw, unfiltered form, and I can wholeheartedly say that it is 100% worth visiting. During my time at the museum, I delved into history and explored the less-discussed side of the coin—the treatment of prisoners, various torture techniques, and the enduring impact of Agent Orange on the population, even years after the war's end. For those with sensitive hearts, be prepared for images and video presentations that will deeply affect you. It's an emotional experience that will leave you overwhelmed by the shocking images and stories. The museum also houses an impressive collection of war artifacts, including airplanes, tanks, helicopters, and armed vehicles, providing a tangible connection to the past. The profound lesson I took away from my visit is that there is simply no place for wars in our world. Every nation should strive for prosperity and health, and conflicts should be resolved through economic support and planning rather than violence. In short, the War Remnants Museum is a must-visit for those who are mature enough to confront the harsh realities of history. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of peace and the need to work towards a world where wars are a thing of the past.
