The beach was lovely and the location was fabulous. Lots of restaurants in walking distance There needs to be more sun loungers.

Seafront location was excellent with lovely pool allowing us to relax. Room was of a very high standard. Breakfast choice was excellent to suit all. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room service was poor with cold food served. Very little English spoken which made it difficult to communicate.

We loved our stay here! Our oceanview room was amazing and it was exactly like the photos. I would recommend paying abit more for a Seaview room otherwise you will face onto the road/city centre. The breakfast buffet was so good with lots of variety. The pool is huge and lovely. Nothing!

Superb location, sea view and fabulous view of a great infinity pool. Rooms were 1st class, very comfy large beds and hotel is perfectly located for Doung Dong and town night market. White wine selection was poor.

Free shuttle bus to/from airport [book ahead]. They've just about got the rooms spot on, [not so sure about the glass bathroom walls]. Hotel is next to harbour/beach & walking distance to the night market. There's also a local free bus service on the main road up the west side of the island, we used this to go a few stops south [out of the town centre] for a better choice of restaurants. Bus also goes to Grandworld, so free half day trip. Big choice on breakfast buffet. Evening bar-b-q looked good [meat as well as seafood]. Remember that UK people don't need visas to go to Phu Quoc [you do for the mainland] but big queue at Immigration at airport, Arrived just after 12 but were told the room wasn't ready and were made to wait until 250pm, it looked like they don't give you the room until 3pm. Some of the waiters uniforms could do with updating - old fashioned white polo shirts would look better in a modern colour. Avoid taxi to Starfish Beach, [SCAM], they take you to a local fishing village and tell you that you have to pay extra to get boat to beach, not true, taxi can take you all the way there. Do use the local minibus tours; they visit most tourist places.

Beach location was very good. Location to the town was good. Except outside area with swimming pool. The room was of a high standard. Excellent choice of breakfast to accommodate all. The property was always clean and tidy. The staff were always courteous. Disappointed with room service as after ordering a meal, when delivered it was cold. A second attempt of the meal 45 minutes later was still cold. It maybe worth pointing out that there is a shortage of sun beds for the amount of guests.

Loved the pool , singers whilst sunset. Breakfast was good The lack of sunloungers, you had to be up by 7 for one, but there is space at the side of restaurant to make an extra sunbathing area.

Breakfast spread was amazing - they had everything and it was all very fresh. The banana cake was amazing (should be at the breakfast every morning!). Our room had a gorgeous view of the water and was quite spacious. The pool area was very clean and there is a pool bar. The sunset was lovely to watch from the pool. I would recommend booking spa treatments here and also any tours through the hotel. 11/10 for this hotel!

The facility was exceptional and staff were constantly mopping the pool area which was kept meticously clean to avoid slipping and to keep the area as dry and clean as possible. I would definately recommend this hotel and will be back to stay at seashells hotel on my next visit to Phu Quoc I would like to see rubber matting around the pool area to walk On as the tiles are so very slippery to walk on when wet around the pool area. Even taking constant care when walking I always had near miss falls.This is a danger to both staff and patrons and by having rubber matting to walk on could help avoid serious injury to persons walking around this area. Would be nice to also have options of fresh fruit smoothies for breakfast. Maybe a smoothie bar incorporated. Otherwise resort was exceptional.
