I would never have thought to do this in Vietnam but it was by far my favorite. The photographer is simply incredible. I was inspired and awed by his skill and talent. You don’t have to like photography and still truly enjoy it. My whole family went a few times because it was that cool!

Aanrader!!!

What a gem. We popped in for a “quick look” and ended up spending 2.5 hours. A remarkable and unique project. Actually, would have been nice to make an early stop here in our 2 weeks in Vietnam, and certainly to better understand the context of the awful Sa Pa “experience”

Absolutely marvelous exhibit. Highly recommended. This is the best tourist spot in Hoi An and a really beautiful ethnographic work.
A wave of emotion washes over me as I wander through the halls of the Precious Heritage Art Gallery. Witnessing Réhahn's dedication and love poured into projects celebrating Vietnam's diverse ethnic communities fills me with immense gratitude. The gallery unfolds like a captivating narrative, beginning with a vibrant display of photo books and postcards in the first space. Moving into the gallery's heart, I immerse myself in the fascinating world of documentaries. Through these films, Réhahn unveils the intricate process of his remarkable work in remote regions of Vietnam. Ascending the stairs, I am greeted by an alluring display of traditional costumes. Among them lie priceless treasures – the last surviving originals, crafted with techniques now lost to time. Each garment whispers tales of a rich cultural heritage, preserved with meticulous care. Even the smallest details speak volumes of the gallery's dedication. The wooden frames surrounding portraits of ethnic representatives are meticulously laser-engraved with typical patterns reflecting their unique heritage. The Precious Heritage Art Gallery is more than an exhibition, it is a journey of discovery, a must-visit place for any traveller seeking a deeper understanding of this vibrant nation.

Úzasné múzeum s oblečením typickým pre 54 etnických skupín žijúcich vo Vietname, s fotografiami krásnych ľudí a osobnými príbehmi zo života a stretnutí fotografa z domácimi.
What a lovely visit and exhibition! I am so pleased that we stumbled into the gallery and the amazingly captured images and traditional clothing.
Beautiful
Absolument magnifique, travail remarquable. Merci de faire perdurer toutes ses splendeurs.
Best museum I've visited in Vietnam. Walked around for hours seeing all the traditional costumes made by ethnic minorities, accompanied by some amazing photography and storytelling. If you want to learn more about hill tribes, you really need to see this.

You can learn here about ethnic groups than in Ethnology Museum in Hanoi. Book at least 2 hours to read all information and watch movie.
Très belle galerie. Photos incroyables
Excellent heritage museum. Well worth a visit.
A fascinating insight into Vietnam’s ethnic minorities and their traditions, with some beautiful portraits. I usually find myself enjoying a museum/gallery for 20 minutes or so and then swiftly moving on, but this small museum kept me engaged for well over an hour and I only left because I had to. Highly recommend.

Sublimes photos !!
Beautiful gallery!!! This visit was the highlight of my trip to Hoi An! I learned a lot!
The magnificent exhibition of this museum amazed me. You will get to know the ethnocultural layer of Vietnam through photographs and national costumes from all over the country. The best part is the museum is free. You can buy both photographs and stylish postcards. I recommend!

Each time we visit Hoi An we go to the Precious Heritage Art Museum as it gets updated and the videos were excellent this year. We hope Rehahn continues to update this amazing free entry museum. We will continue to visit next time we are in Hoi An. Excellent display, beautiful books to purchase.
Fascinating insight into local culture. Brilliant photos, the man behind the magic is extremely talented!
WoW! Go and enjoy. One of he most beautiful gallery and museum I ever seen
If you haven’t been to the Precious Heritage Museum in Hoi An, I more than highly recommend it. 5-stars would be an injustice, it’s an immeasurable experience. Reahan is an otherworldly photographer. Some say he has the ability to capture a glimpse of a person’s soul and I cannot disagree. Absolute magic. I’ve been to The Louvre, I’ve been to The British Museum, but I’ve never been so moved to tears by a collection. I did not know Vietnam is home to 54 unique tribes. I’m grateful to be a little less ignorant now. Reahan’s devotion to his craft (scaling mountains, waiting many years for visas, traveling days just to get 25 minutes with a tribesmember, facing authorities, injuries and hospitalisation) is mind boggling and his commitment to highlighting the unique culture and beauty of the people of Vietnam is beyond admirable. Precious is a national and world treasure.
Fantastic, I love his work. I bought 10 postcards with beautiful pictures. There was also movie that they played.
Very interesting museum that tells a story of a photographer opening the beauty of local ethnic Vietnamese groups to the world. When visiting read descriptions next to photos or costumes and watch the documentary they are very touching.

Fantastic work that shows in a very interesting and original way the culture of different Vietnamese ethnics. Congratulations!!
Wow this is was an absolute gem when we read about this place on a blog. The French photographer travelled around Vietnam to capture the rich histories of all the ethnic groups in some really remote areas. He is working to help preserve their history before they disappear all together from urbanisation! Definitely visit this place
Good museum to learn more about the tribe around the north of Vietnam. The photos were incredible. And it's free! Worth the visit.
