Note

When preparing for a trip to Hội An, Vietnam, consider the following to ensure the best experience:

  1. Comfortable Clothing and Shoes: Hội An is filled with ancient streets and sightseeing spots best explored on foot. Opt for comfortable clothing and easy-to-walk-in shoes (like sneakers) for a more enjoyable exploration.
  2. Sun Protection: Hội An can be quite sunny and hot, so bring sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses.
  3. Power Adapter: If you're coming from abroad, check the type of power sockets used in Vietnam and bring a suitable adapter if necessary.

A-MAZING. Best hotel we had in Vietnam. The location is a little outside of the old town. But it’s very easily accessible using the free bikes Peanut and Thao provide. And provides you a rest from the louder areas. Peanut and Thao are lovely. Their breakfast is to die for. We had room 203 which has a window on the pool and the door leads straight onto a view on the rice paddies. Though not the season (early November), there were still buffalo grazing the fields. Couldn’t ask for more. If you’re in Hoi An, this is the place to go.

This was by far one of my favourite accommodations in Vietnam. The hosts were wonderful and went above and beyond to help me, including receiving a package for me and helping me get to An Bang beach when no grabs or taxis were available. The pool and the plants on the ground floor were gorgeous, the breakfast was great, and the room had a good shower/bath separate from the rest of the bathroom area. A little further from the central old town area than other hotels, but made for a nice walk and made it a little quieter at night.

We booked for 7 nights and stayed 9, so we obviously liked Banana Garden. Like all hotels, it's a bit outside of Old Town, but you can borrow the hotel's bikes for free and bike along the river. It's easy, pretty, and safe to bike to town. We enjoyed being in a more typical Vietnamese neighborhood with plenty of places to eat nearby. The rooms were spotless, and they were cleaned well every day, to the point where our belongings were nicely organized. The pools were a blessing in the heat.

I stayed at D Central Hoi An Homestay for 7 days and this place became my sweet home in Hoi An. The location is perfect. It’s very close to the old town and night market but far enough from the noise. They have good selections of breakfast. I borrowed their bicycle to cycle around Hoi An and it was so much fun. The Wi-Fi works great. The family running the homestay is so sweet. I feel like they are my Vietnamese family now! I can’t go back to stay with them again.

It was the best hotel which we visited during our log vacation to Vietnam. I loved everything was the hotel offered and localization as well. Great room, nice eqipped, big size, close to the beach, great and helpful personnel, great the SAP offer. I relaxed a lot there. The hotel area is calm, quite, good to get relax. A few nice restaurants next to the hotel. Hotel offer botorbike rent in a good price so it's easy to visit Old Town of Hoi An.

Super nice, family run boutique hotel with great rooms, wonderful staff and excellent breakfast. Ho and his wife are amazing and very eager to help organize any sort of activities. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood (except for the roosters), about a 10 min walk away from the old town, but that‘s no real downsize. We can also highly recommend the family‘s tailor shop (Mekong Tailor).

Maybe the best hostel I ever stayed in Vietnam! The food is really good, pool is refreshing, 5min walk to the "private" beach. Family was really helpful and the hostel is very clean, you can also make suit/dress from the hostel cheaper and more professional than in the old town! You can rent the scooter (also in the best condition so far) and tours/transportation with them

1) Host behavior & homely stay, you will always feel relaxed when you reach this hotel after walking throughout your day. Good English speaking capability also helped us a lot. 2) Outside lot of spa & daily utility stores, you can get bicycle on rent, car to Da Nang airport was cheaper than Grab 3) 7 mins walk to the old town, 2 min walk to a good Italian Restaurant

The Son is a fantastic boutique hotel on the edge of the old town. The rooms have a lovely and unique character and there is a quiet charm about the place. The staff are all excellent, especially the Happy Hour bar man. The real highlight is the breakfast where there are Vietnamese and more western choices on offer. The coffee is simply amazing!

Wonderful boutique hotel. Located just a few minutes walk from the center of old town, close to plenty of restaurants, spas, shopping, and night market. Very complete buffet breakfast. Room with river view is a must ! All the staff were courteous and went out of their way to serve us, including Min, Jack and Amber. Highly recommend.

Small boutique, just on the edge of the old town so a bit quieter, but easy walk in. Staff were exceptional, Min was so lovely and helpful, changing our room to a better one when we asked. Free bikes to take and explore, free shuttle to An Bang beach. Great breakfast buffet. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Thanh Van 1 is a very pleasant family hotel with a good swimming pool by Reception. The rooms are comfortable though in need of some minor updating especially in the bathroom. However, on the whole, we had an enjoyable stay. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is situated very close to the old town.

The Cozy Savvy Boutique Hotel was a great choise for our family of 4. It is located within a walking distance from the Old town and the night market in a quiet area. Rooms were very nice, clean and specious. Breakfast was wonderful with special vegeterian dishes for us. We loved it.

Amazing location walking distance to Old Town. Staff is very kind and helpful. Rooms are neat and clean. Even though it is a homestay, it has all facilities like a hotel and that too on a budget. Definitely recommended if you would like to stay between local Vietnamese people.
