Hung was so helpful in booking our tours when we first landed in Hanoi. He was great communicating with us throughout our trip if we had any questions or issues. We were upgraded to the Lavender Boutique around the corner so we did not stay at City Backpackers. Other staff at the hostel were helpful and one even helped us book our grab taxis. Noisy room as the water tank was broken so we constantly heard noises in the night (although we informed reception and they turned the water off the second night after 11:00pm to help us.

We got a free upgrade to the Lavender Boutique Hotel (double room with private bathroom) and we had an amazing stay. Beautiful room, elevator, good breakfast in the rooftop. And very good noice isolation (double windows). No city noice and just time to relax. Loved it! Very staff and good laundry service (35000d/kg)

The staff was really Nice. We got a good breakfast. We did the ha long bay trip with the sleep in the boat, like Tea recommanded it to us. We usually got sick in the sea, but it was perfect. Slow and Calm. Tea even help me to get my jacket back from the airport (i forgot it), was so nice of him. Anyway, great stay 😁

The beds were generous in size, more than normal single beds. The room was quiet and cleaned thoroughly. Breakfast was a bonus. But most of all I loved the staff. They are kind and warm and willing to help with any question or problem. They work very hard and are attentive to the needs of constant travelers coming and going. I had a very good time getting to know them and sharing a few laughs. A big thank you to Tea, Mai, Giang and especially Khanh who always greeted me with a cheeky smile. I would thoroughly recommend staying here for a long stay if you are in need a place that feels more than just a drop in accommodation. Leaving. Other travelers' smelly sox.

Very friendly and helpful staff, took our bags to our room. Breakfast was included, and the rooms were very clean. A soap dish smashed in the shower and staff came very quickly to clean it. Shower was lovely and warm. Happy hour was a great way to get people socialising, and staff ensure this happens. I could not fault anything.

Comfy beds, spacious too, with plenty of lockers etc. Super clean and quite, staff were friendly and informative about tours. Location perfect and the free beer on certain days was a great way to meet people in the social area. The breakfast was really nice Nothing
