Palago Hotel - Ho Chi Minh City

Great location in District 1 with many restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance. The hotel is a little dated but was everything we wanted for a short stay in Ho Chi Minh City. Also the service from the staff aaa outstanding, very friendly, polite and helpful. Particular thanks to Ehaw (I’m sorry about the spelling!) - he really stood out to us for his great customer service, thank you!

Good room with good view of park (park view should be requested) and of typical HCMC old buildings. Good staff at reception and young porters, typical VN hospitality. Good bed and bathroom. Breakfast room on 7th floor with good views was very good with good food and accomodating breakfast staff.

Friendly staff and the location of the hotel is perfect. Very Cozy rooms, not much space to fit in your luggage.

1. The hotel allowed me to check in at around 11:30pm to 12 midnight because i came from Cambodia. 2. The staff are respectful and friendly. 3. Near the bus stop of sleeper buses from Cambodia 4. near a park and has a nice view of the park and District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. 1. Their breakfast is not what was shown in their picture posted in booking.com. It does not have a buffet spread. They only made us choose between a sandwhich and a pho soup and we can only choose one. But there was coffee, tea and juices, though. It was quiet disappointing for me because i booked in this hotel because i wanted to have a sumptuous breakfast during my birthday but it did not happen. My breakfast in California hotel in District 1 Ho Chi minh is better and for the same price. 2. Their toiletries in the bathroom has a different hotel name. I was wondering if the owner stayed in another hotel, got their toiletries and placed whatever he got in his Palago hotel or if the hotel name in the toiletries is their sister hotel. Their soap is lifebouy and their shampoo is sunsilk. They do not have a hotel marked toiletries.

Generally it is a good hotel. Location is very good, stuff is nice and helpful, the facility is clean... Room is a little small.

The hotel was close to shops and eating places. Bed was comfortable, and the room had all the amenities we needed. Staff spoke good English and made check-in and out easy. The room was small and didn't have much space for big luggage storage.

The Palago Hotel was clean, comfortable and central. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
