+ awesome location and atmosphere, out of the hustle and bustle of the center, but still relatively close + great views + cool little wooden shacks, well equipped - the bed was SUPER hard, we needed to use our inflatable mattress to compensate

Loved our stay here - a quiet oasis on the hill so you felt like you were away from it all, but an easy walk into town. Quite a few steps, which may be a consideration for some. Gorgeous animals - had a very friendly kitten snuggling in our room all day and a puppy who was happy to fall asleep on my lap! Great pizza restaurant across the road at the bottom of the steps too. A real hidden gem - would happily stay again.

What an amazing place to stay. The family here was so welcoming and Trang is the most gracious host. The rooms were so clean and spacious. It was great to be in a more quite area of ninh binh surrounded by limestone. This couldn’t not at all be helped by the hosts but we had some noisy upstairs neighbours some nights. I would absolutely pick this homestay again though it was incredible. Just wish the weather was warm enough to want to use the pool!

Very nice, friendly and helpful hosts. We had 3 times dinner there and the food was amazing. The location is close to the center but away enough to feel like in a peaceful oasis. We totally recommend it!

Its a good compromise between a stay in the touristic city center or a stay with the local people in the Mountains. Its close to the city center which came in handy when I wanted to have a western breakfast or go for dinner with some friends we had met (at Jungle they serve Vietnamese food so its a savory breakfast) The house was large enough for 2 people and has a nice view on a Temple and the city but there are lots of trees and flowers so it feels rural at the same time. Its really in between the rural area where they grow vegetables, and the city. The staff was friendly. They dont speak a lot of English but it always worked out. It did feel a bit more as a business ran stay than a homestay with the locals. But again, it is a good compromise, because the charming wooden cabins are basic but they do have a nice looking bathroom with a warm shower etc. Based on the pictures, we had expected they would do more with shared dinners with all guests or having drinks etc in the joint outside area but there was only one time a private party and then we were asked to leave that part of the communal spaces.

Awesome location, away from the city noise but close by walking. Really cosy, wooded bungalow, they have heated mattress, which is awesome. And the breakfast was good (we had a Pho and toasts) The staff is great they try everything to help you. Make sure you enjoy a little coffee on the terrace they have. We will come back !

Everything was perfect during our stay at Sapa Jungle Homestay. We were able to check-in early (fee applies) and we were lucky to stay in the tree house! Staff (Tracy) was awesome - very responsive and helpful for any inquiry.
