Everything, yay! The facilities and the staffs are really nice and friendly. Will come back here once we have another chance to visit Hanoi again. Nothing specific. Happy trip generally.

The hotel is in the perfect location to explore the old city and lake. We arrived on a Sunday evening week before Christmas, which was great as the streets were filled with people out and about enjoying the Christmas lights at the church, and the roads around the lake were closed to traffic for people to walk around. The hotel staff spoke perfect English and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We had issues with a leak in our room and they dealt with it immediately and moved us to another (better) room instantly. We also used the taxi service from the airport that was organised by the hotel which was only a little more expensive that what was quoted on Grab. The hotel is quite tired, and carpets old. We originally had a triple room on the second floor which was tiny and there wasn’t any space between the beds. There was a window but as it opened up to an alley the room did not receive any natural light. To be fair to the hotel, when booking they did advise us to get a Family Room instead, which is two separate with an a private corridor. I still do not feel there should be 3 beds in a room of that size. The cleaning trolley gets stored in the hallway of the second floor, directly outside the Family Room. This wasn’t an issue but was just unexpected. Please also note that from the second floor you can hear people reception early in the morning. After a huge leak in the ceiling of our bathroom we were moved to a suite at the front of the building on a higher floor which received a lot more light and felt a little more spacious. In both rooms we stayed in we experienced hearing water travelling down the pipes from upper floors through boxing in the walls - this couldn’t be heard if the bathroom doors were shut.

We spent only one night here but the staff couldn’t perform any better. Especially Martin, Sabi, they remained professional at all times, always was observing and kind to us. They introduced us to a special kind of Vietnamese coffee though. The hotel rooms are clean and very comfortable. Facilities are great and the hotel is located in the heart of the old quarter. We will return!

Excellent location! right I. the middle of old town n all the action. Cafes all around. Staffs were very nice and accommodating. The hotel is old , rooms can be small.

Close to central Hoan Kien, can go to the Cathedral quickly. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. At first, I was charged 3% more than the price on booking.com. When I told them that I did not agree with the price, they told me that their manager had forgotten to show the price on booking.com and that it was not necessary this. I upgraded my room and stayed on the 9th floor, but it was a little noisy because I could hear the restaurant on the 10th floor all the way up.

Great place to stay with the family, we booked the family room and it was lovely. Spacious, clean, with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms that interconnect. Very central location, great art shops downstairs and the very famous Pho 10 just down the road for dinner. The breakfast can be improved with some more choices but there was enough variety and it was fine for something to have before exploring the city.

Great Location, closer to major attractions in the Old Quarter, but still quiet and not too noisy. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet has a simple but good range of options. The room is much smaller than what is shown in the pictures. The lift can be busy as only one serves the whole hotel.

Location, staff, tour desk specially Mr Martin was very accommodating and excellent in his service. Highly recommended. Breakfast was excellent and varieties. All good.
