A very pleasant stay at the Muong Thanh Grand Hotel. All facilities were clean and spacious and the hotel is situated a short walk from the city's main attractions. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and served in a relaxed and spacious dining room. If the bar had been a little more inviting with more atmosphere we would have finished the evening in there before retiring to bed, but that is a very minor point.

Liked the rooftop swimming pool, nobody was around daytime. Breakfast is excellent, however 70% of the food is Vietnamese ( i would have them for dinner for sure :) ). Room was spacious and quiet. Very close to most of the touristy places, lots of restaurants, cafes and food stalls are around. The aircon was an old style one, couldnt set it for Eco mode, it blow our heads off, It would have been great to have proper reading bedside lights.

A good quality hotel with fantastic facilities including swimming pool & spa facilities Very friendly & helpful staff Amazing service with a fresh plate of fruit delivered to our room (executive suite) every day Limited choice of food for vegetarians for breakfast The chef attempted to make us some vegetarian dishes, but we were presented with dishes containing 'vegetarian shrimp' even though we had explained that we don't eat meat or fish! We eventually got actual vegetarian dishes after explaining exactly what ingredients to add

The location is really good and is walking distance to many eateries, nightlife, and places of interest. Breakfast was not great in terms of quality and spread.

Hotel is clean and conveniently located, Staff is friendly and very helpful. We booked a Mekong river tour with the staff at the hotel. We arrive around 10pm and requested a tour for the next day. The reception staff was very helpful arrange it within few minutes Nothing

a The overall standard at this hotel was very good, in every aspect. My only concern was that of the evening restaurant staff who seemed to have great difficulty in getting the correct menu order to the table. Every evening I had great difficulty in conversing with the waiters, even with the aid of the menu, I often received the wrong order. The were unable to converse or understand English As outlined above regarding the Evening restaurant staff.

The location was perfect, a comfortable walk to most attractions. The rooms were a good size and well maintained. More selection of cereals would have been good at breakfast. There was some confusion with the restaurant staff one lunch time, after going through options that wouldn't have meat - with both items coming out with meat in them. Chef remade both the rolls and salad but after waiting almost half an hour, I needed to leave so visited the Poke cafe across the road. Suggest menu have a few vegetarian options.

I had a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and eager to assist. The room was a good size with an excellent shower and most importantly a quiet air con unit. I was lucky to be on the 11th floor so walked out of my room into the small but lovely swimming pool. I mostly had it to myself. The room was cleaned everyday and I got back to find chocolates left for me. Breakfast had lots of choice. I didn't go hungry. Great area to walk to museums etc. It all worked for me.... I liked it all.
