The location is incredible we walked to the lake and prison plus the best banh mi in town is right on the corner. The family that runs the hotel are incredibly kind and thoughtful with exceptional English. She organised transport to Halong for us and a driver to collect us from the airport. Unbelievable value for money in my opinion.

It was really neat and clean. Although it was a 1 star hotel, it did have facilities as same as a 4 star hotel. It did have an AC room with a small balcony. And it's right in the centre. A lot of shops or restaurants and the train street are in a walkable distance. The faculty was very helpful. And i felt like home. Would definitely recommend. There's almost an 80m walk from the centre through an alley to get to the hotel. The car wouldn't go in here. So if you have got heavy luggage that could bother you. However, the hotel staff goes the extra mile to help with the luggage if you book a taxi with them. Also, do not expect luxury. It's just a very small place good enough for a solo traveller.

Everything was great especially the location only 10 min walk from beer street and also spoilt for choice with shops restaurants etc just at the end of either street

Central location down a small alley way, where you observed local life every time you left and returned to the hotel. The alleyway was well lit and felt safe. The staff were friendly and accommodating. This was not a grand hotel, more like a small guest house.

It was clean and nice andthe family were great, no complaints about the hotel itself The alley to get to the hotel at night. It was unique to experience this hotels location but at night it felt daunting

What I liked about this hotel was that the bed was big and comfy and the staff was very helpful in arranging me a bus for my next destination. You have everything you need and it’s situated in a central spot in the Old Quarter. The room also has a fan and airconditioning, which was comfortable. It was not as luxurious, shiny and beautiful as the pictures made me believe but still a good accommodation.

Good place to stay. The room is regularly cleaned. The staff are nice and accommodating. The hotel's location is perfect. And it's very affordable.
