Ideally located in the Old Quarter and many of the tourist attractions are walkable distances from the hotel. Ms Lucy, the staff at the hotel was kind enough to let me check in well before time and she was helpful in booking and planning my tours around Hanoi.

You get what you pay for. Great location for Old Quarter, restaurants, bars, etc. Lucy the owner was very nice and helped with taxi, etc The hotel is a bit old but clean. My room size was great and very happy overall. I only needed one night in Hanoi before going to the airport the next day so…perfect for me

Ms. Lucy is the best manager I have met. She was easy to contact, very helpful and always on hand when needed. Helped book our Hà Giang Loop and Hà long bay trips while also organising our bus to leave Hanoi. If the room was a bit more updated and the WiFi stronger this would be a 10. Cannot recommend this as an option any more, great value for money when Ms. Lucy is the one looking after you. WiFi was poor in the first room we stayed and the room a bit run down but, its fine

I liked a lot. The owner Lucy can help you with bus tickets, trips and give information about what to do at the city. And she can create a good athmosphere. Staying at Charming House was quite relaxing experience even if life around was sometimes a bit chaotic. I hope the street construction work at the street in front of hotel is now finished. The hotel is situated at the old center but in quite quiet place.
