Lovely and very caring staff. The room I stayed was spacious and clean. Being a small property, they do not have lifts, and the staff had to carry our big suitcases up to the 3rd floor, which was quite heartbreaking to watch. I'll also suggest more vegetarian options for breakfast and lobby could be a little bit more tidy.

The property was beautiful and clean with amazing facilities. There was an excellent breakfast each morning with lots of choice. The rooms were cleaned each day and the pool was amazing. The staff were also so lovely and attentive and helped with booking tours. Perfect location between the beach and the old town with free bicycles to get between them. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Couldn’t fault it

This lovely little place made our time in Hoi An. The girls that work there are absolutely brilliant and work so hard from morning until the evening. They are always checking everything’s ok, they booked our tour, our car back to Da Nang, cooked breakfasts in the morning. All with a smile! The room itself was big and spacious, and the balcony was a lovely space to have. It was so clean and was tidied every day for us no matter what time we left the room. The pool was also amazing especially in an afternoon when we were hot and bothered after strolling around the old town. The breakfast was super good- had such a good mix of local food, fruit, cereal and eggs made to order. The location was a little out of the main town but with the free bicycles it took all of 10 minutes to get there and it was lovely and quiet. The rice fields were not far from the hotel too and they are a treat to cycle through as the sun sets. The only thing was that the aircon didn’t keep the room super cool. Thankfully there was a fan too so we were ok. But just something little to note!

As in my previous review: - outstanding stay! - comfortable rooms and facilities - excellent, friendly and attentive service from San, Tam and the rest of the team - excellent breakfast - great value - location a bit further out than other places but really not an issue (either a 20 minute walk or you can use the bikes that they provide for free) - the positive of this is that you have easy access to both the town and the beach, and the walk/cycle lets you take in more of the local area. It was a positive for us. Will be recommending to all my friends and hope to return soon! Nothing!

I absolutely adore it when the staff is friendly and welcoming. Additionally, a spacious room just makes my stay all the more comfortable and enjoyable. Due to the high humidity, there was an unpleasant odor in the room and the clothes failed to dry completely.

Our 5 day stay at Volar Homestay was a wonderful experience. They recognised the fact we are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary with decorations and some beautiful food. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. We could use their bikes and we cycled between 20-30kms most days to see all the sights that are just slightly out of town. The tour booking desk was also very efficient and on par to slightly cheaper than we could book ourselves. Well done, we can highly recommend this homestay!

More like a hotel then a homestay, amazing place. We were supposed to only be there for two night but we extended our stay for two more. The girls are super nice and helpful, the drove me to the police twice on their own scooters (without wanting anything in exchange, not even gas money) because of some issues with my passport. The breakfast is amazing, you can get anything from a buffet that has fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice, cereal and milk, two kind of toast, jam, butter and little pastries… and you can also order something a la carte every morning (we had two dishes each). A breakfast like this got us going till 4 pm every day. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, and we really loved to swim in the pool. The homestay provides free bikes to go around and you can also rent a scooter. Overall the best stay during our trip to Vietnam :)
